I am a founder member of HeartCare and have been on the committee since it was formed in 1989.

In those days I was involved in all the fund-raising activities which I did for several years working to establish HeartCare. I gave up fund-raising to give me a chance to do other things.  

This has now gone full circle and I am now part of the HeartCare fund-raising sub-committee. We meet once a month (in summer) to arrange all our fund-raising activities

I am also responsible for distributing HeartCare News I proof-read the master copy that Neville produces each month, Neville makes any corrections that may be needed and posts to Norwich Prison for printing. We have enough copies printed so every member's household gets a copy free of charge. When Neville gets the printed copies back from the prison he lets me have them for sending out to members, Doctor's surgeries, other CHD groups etc. 

I also do the posters advertising the social evenings and send them to Neville for reproducing in “HeartCare News”.
