I have lived in the Waveney area for 48 years having been born in North Staffordshire in the foothills of the Pennines. I joined the RAF in 1958, met and married my wife Betty and inevitably came to settle in East Anglia. I have three children, two boys and a girl, and they have blessed Betty and I with 4 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. In addition to my 9 years service in the RAF, I worked for Shell UK for 21 years and the Courts Service for 15 years before retiring and joining HeartCare in 2004. I have been a Magistrate on the Lowestoft Bench and a District Councillor for the Waveney area and apart from HeartCare any spare time is divided between family and using our Motorhome both home and on the Continent.
