My Date with 'Angie' and its Consequence

There was one small thing that made me just a little puzzled. I was told that, initially, they had me down as Nellie Sanderson. That was put right and the notice on my door showed my correct name but in brackets were the letters PMS. Is this the condition that is causing me problems I wonder? My symptoms were random rather than monthly!! It turned out that they were the initials of my Consultant - panic over!

Sue brought me a cup of tea and biscuits and some forms to fill in and a “Welcome to the Cardiac Unit” booklet to read. After filling in these forms I thought this was a good time to start writing up this epistle. I hadn't been started very long when a Doctor came in, introduced himself to me and said he wanted to have a listen to my heart etc., and take down my history, what medication I was on etc., he asked me lots of questions. He was interested in what I was doing with this laptop just as much as I was interested in what he had to do to me.
