HeartCares Information Service.   provides information every Friday, in the foyer of James Paget hospital, situated opposite the League of Friends shop.  This is manned by a team of volunteers, all members of HeartCare and have personal experience of heart problems or are the carer of such.

We are not qualified to give medical advice, but consider ourselves well equipped to empathise, offering a listening ear.  We carry a comprehensive selection of literature on heart problems, healthy diet, exercise etc., and if we haven't got it we can endeavour to find a 'man that does'.

we are also willing to take our service out into the community, and indeed we do, attending Health Awareness days as every opportunity.. Literature is also available at all our fundraising events.
